Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams had a routine performance for a player of his stature.

He had three receptions for 124 yards and two touchdowns in their Week 5 Monday Night Football game against the division rival Kansas City Chiefs.

Unfortunately, the game will be remembered for two reasons.

First, the Raiders suffered their fourth loss out of five games.

Second, Adams went viral for his untoward gesture toward a camera operator.

ESPN’s NFL insider Adam Schefter shared the clip on Twitter.

Schefter said, “Raiders’ WR Davante Adams moments after the Raiders loss to the Chiefs:”

The former Fresno State standout was seen pushing the camera guy out of his way after their 30-29 defeat to the Chiefs.

It looked like the camera operator was going toward Adams.

Still, that’s no excuse for the two-time First-Team All-Pro member to push him away.

Adding insult to injury, he did nothing the help the operator and kept walking.

This action will merit some sanctions from the league.

NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero tweeted, “#Raiders WR Davante Adams is facing NFL discipline — and potentially even a suspension — for shoving a man to the ground after Monday night’s loss to the #Chiefs, per sources.”

While there’s still no word on how long Adams will be out of action, it’s the last thing the Raiders need after their 1-4 start.

Is Adams’ Frustration Valid?

Adams had a critical third-down catch that could have set up the winning field goal.

Unfortunately, it was ruled incomplete, and the Raiders failed to complete the comeback.

Likewise, the Raiders failed to complete a two-point conversion after a 48-yard touchdown pass from Derek Carr to Adams.

That botched opportunity will haunt them as they try to regroup during their bye week.
