Houston Astros star Yordan Alvarez not only hits them frequently: he also hits them far.

And besides hitting them often and far, he hits them at the most important spots.

Ok, last one: not only does he hit them in clutch spots: he also hits them to all parts of the field.

Yes, we are talking about home runs: Alvarez just did it again.

With his Astros trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the sixth against the Seattle Mariners, the lefty-hitting slugger went deep for the second straight game with a man on base.

And, for the second game in a row, he turned a deficit into an advantage with just one swing.

This one left the yard to left field: a true oppo-taco!

A Playoff Hero

In case you haven’t been paying attention this week: on Tuesday, during Game 1 of the American League Division Series between the Mariners and the Astros, Alvarez went to the plate with two men on base and his team trailing 7-5.

Houston won 8-7, as you can imagine what happened: Alvarez belted a walk-off, three-run homer against reigning AL Cy Young Robbie Ray to take the victory away from the M’s when they were already tasting it.

Today, the same scenario repeated itself, only in the sixth inning.

Castillo was cruising up to that point, only surrenduring a solo home run to Kyle Tucker in the second inning.

But Alvarez is a top-five hitter in MLB, as evidenced by his .306/.406/.613 regular season line and 37 round-trippers.

There are still a couple of innings left to play, and we don’t know who will win tonight’s game.

What we do know is that Alvarez is not welcome in Seattle.
