The Green Bay Packers headed into the divisional showdown with the Chicago Bears at Lambeau Field on Sunday with high hopes of clinching a playoff spot and making easy work of a struggling division rival.

Unfortunately for Green Bay, things weren’t going as planned in the first half, with the Bears keeping the game competitive, as Chicago was down by only one point heading into halftime.

With a postseason berth on the line, the frustration was mounting for Packers head coach Matt LaFleur, who couldn’t contain his anger on the sideline at the end of the first half, as he was seen throwing his headset to the ground via NFL on CBS.

Outside of a touchdown pass from quarterback Jordan Love to wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks in the second quarter, the Packers couldn’t get anything going offensively, which obviously led to frustration from LaFleur, who knew what was at stake on Sunday in Green Bay.

Fortunately for the Packers, the team got going in the second half while being able to hold Justin Fields and company at bay, who struggled in what could be his final game for the Bears.

The Packers went on to beat the Bears, with Love connecting with Wicks for another touchdown and the team putting the nail in the coffin with a field goal from kicker Anders Carlson in the fourth quarter.

As a result of the win, the Packers were able to punch their ticket to the postseason in a year that had been up and down for the storied franchise.
