US flood: At least two killed in ‘unprecedented’ Louisiana flooding
Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards says torrential rainfall in the US state has caused “unprecedented” flooding, and has claimed at least two lives. A state of emergency has been declared. More than 1,000 residents within the state were evacuated. The rising waters swamped roads and left houses partially submerged, and rescue crews had to use boats to help residents who were trapped.
