The Tennessee Titans are heading into their 2023 offseason with some coaching positions to fill.

After a disappointing season, the team cleaned house with some coaches on their staff.

This left a vacancy for their defensive pass game coordinator and cornerback coaching positions.

However, the Titans have found a replacement in Chris Harris for these roles.

Harris is a former safety for the Chicago Bears and spent four seasons with the team during his career.

He also spent two years with the Bears as their defensive quality control coach from 2013 to 2014.

His time playing in Chicago has fans remembering something special he did in the Super Bowl.

With the Bears holding a seven-point lead over the Indianapolis Colts, Harris picked off Peyton Manning.

His performance during the Super Bowl was his crowning achievement as a player for the Bears.

While his playing career was short, he’s been coaching in the NFL since his retirement as a player in 2013.

Even though he got his start in Chicago, Harris was coaching for the Washington Commanders for the past three seasons.

As their defensive backs coach, he’s been a help with their secondary.

However, he now has an offer from the Titans to start the next chapter in his coaching career.

The offer comes with the Titans having the worst pass defense from the 2022-23 NFL season.

Their unit ranked last in passing yards, passing attempts, and passing completions.

They also ranked 28th in passing touchdowns allowed.

With their secondary having a horrible season, it’s now up to Harris to right the ship in Tennessee.
