The Phillies Failed To Help A Simple Bet Hit
Last night was a night to forget for the Philadelphia Phillies, who were no-hit by the Houston Astros and dropped Game 4 of the World Series by a final of 5-0 and dropped into a 2-2 tie.
Prior to the game, DraftKings opened a bet on both the Phillies and their NBA counterparts, the Philadelphia 76ers.
The bet was for 76ers three-point shots and Phillies hits in total.
The over-under was at 19.5 heading into last night’s games.
The 76ers did their part, hitting 19 three-point shots.
The Phillies on the other hand, fell well short of their expectations and did not pick up a single hit.
.@DKSportsbook offered a bet last night on the 76ers made 3-pointers + Phillies hits. The O/U was set at 19.5.

Phils Fail On Bet
At least the 76ers did their part.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the Phillies.
Cristian Javier shut them down for six innings and struck them out nine times before giving way to the bullpen, which continued the dominance and completed the no-hitter.
So, the bet turned out okay for those who bet under because the Sixers managed to do their part, but for those who may have bet over, the same could not be said.
The Sixers ultimately lost their game as well, falling by a final score of 121-111 to the Washington Wizards.
But at the very least, they managed to hold up their end of the bet.
The Phillies never got anything going and ultimately lost in the most brutal fashion.
At the same time, those who bet over last night also lost in brutal fashion.
Perhaps tonight things will be different.
