The MLB All-Star Game Outfield Races Feature Superstar Competition
The first phase of fan voting for the 2022 MLB All-Star Game ended a few days ago, with New York Yankees and Atlanta Braves’ sluggers Aaron Judge and Ronald Acuna Jr., respectively, earning starting gigs.
That stage also helped the league define two finalists for each position (four for two remaining outfield spots) to face them off in the stage two of the fan voting process.
There is definitely some star-power in both league’s outfield foursomes.

Eight Stars Vying For Four Spots
The Los Angeles Angels’ Mike Trout, Toronto Blue Jays’ George Springer and Lourdes Gurriel Jr., and Yankees slugger Giancarlo Stanton are competing for two spots in the American League outfield to join Judge.
On the other hand, the Los Angeles Dodgers’ Mookie Betts, San Francisco Giants’ Joc Pederson, Braves’ Adam Duvall, and New York Mets speedster Starling Marte are vying for a place alongside Acuna in the National League.
If we go to the numbers, Trout and Springer should be the remaining two starting outfielders in the junior circuit; while Betts and Marte deserve the nod in the NL.
But Stanton and Pederson are worthy candidates, too.
In any case, there is still some time to vote for the remaining starters in the Midsummer Classic, so fan bases around the league are trying to support their stars through the power of their vote.
No matter who wins, it should be an attractive game with some of the best players in the world sharing the same field at the same time.
