The Lakers Might Be Biding Their Time For The Right Trade

There are millions of fans of the Los Angeles Lakers currently crying out for the team to do something – anything – to make a trade.

The team is doing so horribly and the fanbase is so depressed that there are some even calling on the front office to trade LeBron James.

While initially hesitant to do so, fans are ready for the team to trade away their two first-round draft picks in order to make things better.

But these fans shouldn’t hold their breath.

Reporting from inside the team suggests that the team is “waiting” for a “specific” player whom they can trade Russell Westbrook and their first-round picks for.

The sources saying this haven’t revealed who the specific player could be but it’s unlikely to be Buddy Hield, Myles Turner, or the controversial Kyrie Irving.

Is this the right move for the Lakers?

More importantly, how much longer do Lakers fans have to wait?

Fans aren’t very happy with Rob Pelinka, Vice President of Operations for the Lakers.

They feel that he hasn’t done enough to make this team better and has surrounded James and Anthony Davis with a team that just can’t compete.

It’s become clear that something big has to happen to the Lakers – and it has to happen soon if the team wishes to turn the season around.

There are many amazing players in the NBA who could greatly help LA but we don’t know who they have their target set on.

We also don’t know if other teams would be willing to hear the Lakers out, even with first-round picks on the table.

If the Lakers don’t make a trade or don’t somehow turn things around, this season is going to be very long.
