The Dodgers Once Again Have A Stacked Rotation
The Los Angeles Dodgers made a key move late on Wednesday to bolster their starting rotation, signing right-hander Noah Syndergaard to a one-year, $13 million contract with an additional $1.5 million in incentives.
The Dodgers had previously lost left-hander Tyler Anderson, who had signed a three-year deal with the Los Angeles Angels at the onset of free agency.
Walker Buehler is also out until 2024 as he recovers from Tommy John surgery.
But with this latest move, the Dodgers have plugged a hole in their starting rotation.

Dodgers Boast Solid Rotation
Los Angeles already had Julio Urias, Tony Gonsolin, Clayton Kershaw, and Dustin May in their rotation.
Syndergaard gives them a veteran presence to lean on.
Los Angeles may still target other starting pitchers, as lefty Carlos Rodon is still available.
But having Syndergaard is a plus.
The veteran righty won 10 games and posted a 3.94 ERA in 25 appearances with the Angels and the defending National League champion Philadelphia Phillies.
At the very least, the Dodgers have a solid group of starters in their rotation that should give them a chance to compete for a World Series title.
There are question marks with May, Kershaw, and Gonsolin.
But if all goes according to plan, the Dodgers could have a very solid rotation in 2023.
The team won 111 games during the regular season, but fell short in the NLDS against the San Diego Padres.
They will look to bounce back in 2023.
