Stats Show How Dominant Jimmy Butler Has Been In Playoffs
For years, Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler has had a bit of a tough reputation around the league.
But as much as people talk about his tough-love leadership, they also have to admit that he’s a guy that’ll always lead by example, putting up top-notch efforts in the postseason.
That has been evident this year more than ever, as Butler has been arguably the best performer in this NBA playoffs, dominating on both ends of the floor and leading the No. 8 seed Miami Heat to the Eastern Conference Finals.
His numbers this postseason have been ridiculous, as pointed out by StatMuse:

The Heat took down the league-best Milwaukee Bucks in the first round and then stormed Madison Square Garden to upset the New York Knicks.
They’re now up 1-0 on the Boston Celtics despite entering Game 1 as eight-point underdogs.
Of course, coach Erik Spoelstra and the supporting cast deserve a lot of credit, especially considering they’ve had to pick up the slack with Tyler Herro missing most of the postseason with a broken hand.
But Butler deserves as much praise as he can get for this historical run.
He’s set multiple franchise and NBA records in the postseason, and it doesn’t seem like he’s going to take his feet off the gas any time soon.
Butler can score, play defense, run the offense, rebound, and won’t hesitate to put his body on the line for his team, even missing one game with an injured ankle before getting back on the court to finish the job.
