Stats Show Grant Williams’ Failed Attempt To Guard Jimmy Butler
The Boston Celtics once again fell short against the Miami Heat, letting Jimmy Butler do whatever he wanted in the fourth quarter of Game 2.
Butler didn’t miss his chance and took over the game in the final minutes of the quarter, leading his team to a big 111-105 win at TD Garden.
The adjustments made by head coach Joe Mazzulla didn’t work, and stats show how effective Butler was when guarded by Grant Williams.

Butler was feeling himself whenever he went against Williams, and nothing could stop him from dominating the player.
They even had an altercation in the middle of the fourth quarter, which prompted Butler to take his game to the next level.
He kept attacking Williams and scoring on him while taunting him at every chance he got.
Butler also sent a message to Mazzulla, telling him that putting Williams on him wasn’t the wisest decision.
In the end, Miami was too much for the Celtics, taking the 2-0 lead in a series that looks more and more favorable for the Heat.
Williams tried hard but Butler is simply on another level right now, and even when things get hard, he stays calm, waiting for his opportunity.
Miami will have the chance to close out this series at home. The Celtics will try to steal the recipe to win two consecutive games as visitors, but Erik Spoelstra is doing a terrific job containing the Celtics.
Butler is on a tear right now, and nobody appears to be ready to stop him.
