Just one year removed from winning the Super Bowl in 2021, the Los Angeles Rams had a 5-12 record to close out the 2022 season.

There were many potential factors for the Rams’ downfall, including injuries to Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp.

During the 2023 NFL offseason, there haven’t been many details provided about either, and what their status will be moving forward.

However, Sean McVay recently spoke about Stafford’s injury, saying: “There will be no limitations. He’ll be ready to roll.”

Stafford was only able to participate in nine games last season, as he suffered a spinal cord contusion, and was placed on injured reserve.

This is a serious injury, and at the time, many fans wondered if Stafford would ever play in the NFL ever again.

If McVay’s reporting is any indication, it appears that Stafford be able to line up under center for the Rams in 2023.

Even with Stafford under center, the Rams will certainly have their work cut out for them this year.

The NFC West has gotten significantly more difficult, given the strong defensive play of the San Francisco 49ers, and the surprising growth of the Seattle Seahawks.

Both of those teams made the playoffs in 2022 and will look to build upon that success.

The Rams certainly have some catching up to do, especially since their team is one of the oldest in the league.

Will Kupp and Stafford both be healthy all season, giving the Rams their best possible opportunity at success?

With the league having more parity than ever before, we’ll soon see where they end up.
