The Tampa Bay Rays have enjoyed a solid run of success in recent years.

The team has finished above the .500 mark in each of the past five seasons and have reached the postseason in four consecutive seasons.

Last season, they were the third Wild Card team in the American League and fell short in the first round against the Cleveland Guardians.

But the wait for baseball is finally over, as pitchers and catchers report to spring training today.

The Rays have assembled a solid starting rotation that features Tyler Glasnow, Shane McClanahan, Drew Rasmussen, Jeffrey Springs, and the newly signed Zach Eflin.

On Twitter, the Rays posted a message to get their fans hyped for the start of spring training and the 2023 season.

The Rays were rather quiet this winter, with Eflin being their only major move.

But this is a team that cannot be slept on.

They also have stars such as Wander Franco, Yandy Diaz, Isaac Paredes, and Randy Arozarena in their lineup.

Needless to say, there are a lot of things to be excited about in St. Petersburg.

The Rays have always been an interesting team in terms of how they find their talent, drafting and developing stars and later trading some of them to receive Major League-ready players in return that end up making an impact and improving the team.

Much of their talent is homegrown and is ready to make an impact in 2023.

The starting pitching is strong, and the lineup has plenty of big bats.

But regardless, it’s almost time for baseball season, and the Rays want to make sure that fans are ready to go for 2023.
