Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is continuing to campaign for a return to the NFL after suffering a torn ACL in Super Bowl LVI just over a year ago.

It was his second ACL tear in a span of fewer than 18 months, and naturally, there are questions about how capable he is of contributing to a team, especially one with big aspirations.

There have been rumors that Beckham would be asking for a contract worth as much as $20 million a year, but he took to Twitter in an attempt to clear up such speculation.

Beckham’s prime years were so recent that most football fans vividly remember what a force he was just several years ago.

He made the Pro Bowl while collecting over 1,300 receiving yards in each of his first three seasons before injuries started to slow him down.

One ACL tear is bad enough for a pro athlete, especially one such as Beckham that relied so much on world-class speed, but two such injuries could have a compound effect that could rob him of his effectiveness.

Beckham will likely not be a primary threat at wideout anymore, but he could be a very nice supplemental or situational option for a team that believes in him enough to sign him.

He held an open workout recently that reportedly had representatives from many NFL teams present, but it is not clear how much serious interest there currently is in the 30-year-old.

One team that is apparently out of the running for Beckham is the Giants, as it is believed he is out of their price range.
