The Philadelphia Eagles are dominating the NFL with their undefeated record in 2022.

With the team escaping Houston with a win on Thursday night, head coach Nick Sirianni had a message for his team.

So was he happy with his team’s performance, or did he have a different message for his team?

Sirianni Says His Team Can Be “Proud” Of Their 8-0 Record

With Thursday night’s win, “it’s just the beginning” of the Eagles’ best start in franchise history.

While he normally doesn’t “do the whole game ball thing,” he did it after their win against the Houston Texans.

With the team’s owner there, he got a game ball for having “the best organization in the NFL.”

However, defensive tackle Javon Hargrave got a game ball as well for his impressive performance.

While Sirianni says he forgot to mention him last week, he rattled off his amazing game stats from their Thursday night game.

With the Eagles’ head coach giving out praise, he also feels it’s “just the beginning.”

But this beginning might end when the Eagles face some tougher opponents.

Eagles Have Benefited From Soft Schedule

While the Eagles are undefeated, their opponents haven’t been tough.

Their previous opponents currently have a combined record of 25-36-1.

Only three of their eight wins are against teams at or above .500.

With them defeating teams who are doing poorly this season, it’s hard to buy into the hype.

While the Eagles stand on top of the NFL based on their record, their game against the Texans was concerning.

If they have issues against better teams like they did with Houston, the undefeated streak will end.
