NFL Analyst Thinks Cowboys Have Another ‘Big Move’ Coming
So far this offseason, the Dallas Cowboys look like a stronger team than they were during the 2022 season.
They upgraded their secondary by adding cornerback Stephon Gilmore, a five-time Pro Bowler, and they traded for Brandin Cooks, who will give them a very good No. 2 wide receiver alongside CeeDee Lamb.
Dallas seems to be in win-now mode, and it has led Dan Orlovsky to think the team is poised to make one more big move that would allow it to draft running back Bijan Robinson.

Robinson put up 1,580 rushing yards and 18 rushing touchdowns for the University of Texas last season, and he is widely considered one of the best overall players available in this year’s NFL draft.
The Cowboys recently released running back Ezekiel Elliott, who appears to be in slow decline, as 2022 Pro Bowler Tony Pollard appears to be their No. 1 tailback moving forward.
But in their divisional playoff round loss to the San Francisco 49ers, he suffered a sprained ankle and fractured fibula, although he is expected to be ready for training camp this summer.
If Pollard continues to play at the level he was at this past season, one may wonder why Dallas would need to draft another running back, especially in an era where that position’s value is at an all-time low.
But if Robinson has the potential to be a dominant running back, he could give the team an advantage that very few others currently possess, as he could put lots of pressure on an opposing team’s front seven and tire it out, thus opening up the passing game.
