NFL Analyst Shares Intriguing Potential Carson Wentz Landing Spot
Ever since he was the starting quarterback on the 2017 Philadelphia Eagles team that won the Super Bowl, Carson Wentz has struggled to resurrect himself.
He has struggled to stay healthy and has been benched more than once, and it all culminated with his being released by the Washington Commanders in late February.
Wentz has been an NFL free agent ever since, and analyst Cody Benjamin feels the Green Bay Packers would be a nice landing spot for him.

The Packers are moving on to a new era after trading Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets and committing to Jordan Love as their QB of the future.
Wentz could give them a reliable backup QB while also serving as something of a mentor for Love.
Wentz was the No. 2 pick in the 2016 NFL Draft by the Eagles, and despite suffering a rib injury in the preseason, he started all 16 regular-season games, and the following season, he earned a spot in the Pro Bowl.
However, after pacing Philly to 11 wins in their first 13 games, he suffered a torn ACL, and he had to watch Nick Foles lead them to the world championship.
Wentz regained his starting role in 2018 after his knee healed, but the Eagles struggled, and he was accused of being a bad influence by his teammates.
He isn’t exactly the player he was in 2017 when he was being talked about as a possible MVP candidate before his injury, but he should still have some real value as a second-stringer.
