NFL Analyst Breaks Down Eagles’ Offseason Brilliance
The Philadelphia Eagles front office had quite the offseason before the 2022 season.
Not only did they make moves to acquire new players, but they also retained their current assets, both of which are massive reasons that they are in the Super Bowl.
The Eagles’ general manager, Howie Roseman, has been the recipient of a world of praise for his offseason genius.

A.J. Brown was one of the best moves that Roseman made before this season.
The team traded the number 18 overall and 101 overall picks in the 2022 NFL Draft for Brown, a decision that has certainly worked out for them.
Brown and Jalen Hurts established instant rapport the second that Brown was moved to Philadelphia, as Brown was fourth in the league in receiving yards, and tied for third in the league in touchdown receptions.
Brown’s presence has led to another massive rise for sophomore receiver DeVonta Smith.
When Smith was the number-one receiving option in 2021, he had 916 yards, 64 receptions, and five touchdowns.
However, because he was the number two option this year, he had a better statistical season, finishing the year with 1,196 yards, 95 catches, and seven touchdowns.
Besides Brown, Roseman also retained Haason Reddick, James Bradberry, Kyzir White, Jordan Davis, and C.J. Gardner-Johnson.
Reddick was a dominant force on defense, as he finished the regular season with 16 sacks and five forced fumbles.
Every relatively big-name player that the Eagles have signed in the offseason has panned out for them.
Will this materialize into the Eagles winning the Super Bowl?
