The New York Knicks are on a winning streak that few teams in the NBA can match up against.

The team has been surging lately, winning their eighth-straight game on Friday night by taking down the Miami Heat in thrilling fashion.

Julius Randle, who has received his fair share of both praise and ridicule over the years, was key to the team’s victory.

With just seconds to go in the fourth quarter, the Heat were up by one point.

All eyes were on Randle, who struggled not to turn the ball over.

After nearly losing the ball multiple times, Randle pulled up an off-balance three-pointer with just 1.1 seconds left.

The crowd was left stunned as he pulled off the difficult shot to give the Knicks a two-point win.

Following the game, Randle told the New York Post, “It felt good honestly when it left my hand. I was in the zone I guess.”

After the game, Twitter was ablaze with reactions from analysts, insiders, and especially fans.

One terrific photo from Issac Baldizon was shared by Ballislife.com and it showed just how engaged and enraptured fans were in the final moments of the game.

Meanwhile, the fan account KnicksMuse posted footage of the entire Knicks team going wild after the incredible final seconds of the game.

Super fans like Ashley Nicole Moss were feeling very justified in their unwavering love of Randle, despite detractors calling him out over the last year.

She said, “allllllllllll of those nasty things a lot of y’all had to say to me for defending Julius Randle (last season and part of this season) — just to be tweeting his praises now.”

Even Hollywood superstar Ben Stiller showed his loyal devotion to the team following Randle’s play and their eighth-straight win, posting “#Knicks win. 8 in a row” on Twitter.

Not only have the Knicks been winning many games, but they seem to be having a lot of fun and enjoy playing alongside one another.

If they continue to do the things they do right, their chances of making a deep playoff run can’t be ruled out.
