As the 2023 MLB season approaches, now is a good time to take a look at which of the 30 teams have the best farm systems in all of baseball.

That is typically determined by various sources, the most trusted of which is MLB Pipeline.

MLB Pipeline usually ranks the Top 10 farm systems based on what kind of talent each team has in their minor league systems.

For example, the Baltimore Orioles are high on this year’s list because of top prospect Gunnar Henderson, as well as the recently drafted Jackson Holliday.

On Twitter, MLB posted the Top 10 list for farm systems across the league.

As previously mentioned, the Orioles find themselves at the top because of the depth in their system that includes Henderson and Holliday.

The Arizona Diamondbacks find themselves in the third spot.

Top prospect Corbin Carroll made his MLB debut late last season and impressed many around the game.

He was recently signed to an extension and will be in a Diamondbacks uniform for years to come.

The Cincinnati Reds cannot be counted out either.

They had a strong farm system last year, and two players from that system made their MLB debuts.

Right-hander Hunter Greene and left-hander Nick Lodolo were in the system and made their debuts in 2022.

The Reds have many more prospects in the farm thanks to recent trades.

At No. 9 are the St. Louis Cardinals, who have Jordan Walker and Masyn Winn knocking on the door, ready to make their presences felt.

These teams have some top talent within their organizations and bright futures ahead of them.
