Everyone is asking one question about Kevin Durant of the Brooklyn Nets: will he or won’t he?

Will Durant decide to stick it out with the Nets, even if they lose Kyrie Irving, or will he decide to pack up his bags and play elsewhere?

Obviously, a lot is riding on Durant’s decision.

It’s not an overstatement to say that the future of the team rests on Durant’s shoulders.

News coming from inside Durant’s camp isn’t very encouraging for his fans.

The latest reports say that Durant is “losing faith” in Brooklyn’s management, specifically because of their handling of the Irving situation.

According to a source, Durant “feels that the front office didn’t grow to understand Kyrie.”

Does this mean his days in Brooklyn are over?

A Departing Durant?

Durant and Irving have only played two seasons together and things haven’t worked out as planned so far.

They got swept in the first round of the playoffs during this last season and they got taken out by the Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference semifinals the year before.

Despite the power of Durant and Irving – and James Harden as well – the Nets have not become the super-team that people expected.

You can say what you want about Irving and the way he is handling this current situation but it’s obvious that Nets’ front office is having a tough time managing things.

Meanwhile, Durant is sitting by watching his team fall apart and his chances of another Finals ring slip away.

If he doesn’t give the Nets another shot, there are a slew of teams across the league who would bend over backwards to sign him.

It might ruin Brooklyn’s chances but it could greatly improve his own.
