The Pittsburgh Steelers had a scare with rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett during week six.

In a game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the rookie QB suffered a concussion.

With the NFL concussion protocol under fire after Tua Tagovailoa‘s concussion, everyone wants to know how Pickett feels after his concussion.

Pickett has now given his answer to reports who were asking this question.

So what did he say, and how bad is the concussion?

Pickett Gives Little Details Following Concussion

While everyone was searching for detailed answers, reporters got little from Kenny Pickett.

The rookie QB stated he didn’t want to go into the details of his concussion.

However, he said he “felt great now” when talking to reporters.

With reporters asking him about the Tagovailoa situation, he answered them by saying, “every case is it’s own.”

While every concussion is unique, reporters will still bring up the fresh and horrifying concussion Tagovailoa had against the Bengals.

Even though Tagovailoa’s injury is bringing fresh eyes to the concussion protocol, Pickett is thinking about his injury.

Also, Pickett trusts the doctors in Pittsburgh, as those doctors are respected worldwide.

With Pickett and Tagovailoa facing each other, people are putting focus on these players’ concussions and not on their talent.

However, with Pickett, he’s confident that he’s ready, as his medical team has his full faith in them.

While pundants might focus on other things, his focus is on football.

As long as doctors tell him he’s ok, he’s going to trust their evaluation over other’s options.
