Kendrick Perkins Says 1 NBA Player Is Back To His ‘Jordan Fashion’

NBA: OCT 06 Preseason - Thunder v Bobcats

The Los Angeles Clippers have been inconsistent all season long, but they have won six of their last eight games and are hoping to make one final push ahead of the playoffs.

They currently sit in fifth place in the Western Conference, and while moving up in the standings may not be realistic, they’re looking to at least bypass the play-in tournament and make the postseason outright.

Kawhi Leonard has been playing some outstanding basketball lately, and ESPN analyst Kendrick Perkins, a former NBA big man, says Leonard is back to resembling Michael Jordan.

The star forward missed all of last season with a partially torn ACL, and there were some questions about how he would look this season and how well he would play.

During the first two months or so of the schedule, he looked like a man who was well past his prime, but since the start of the new calendar year, he’s been putting up 27.6 points a game while shooting 53.4 percent overall and a sizzling 48.3 percent from 3-point range.

With co-star Paul George out for at least the next couple of weeks, Leonard will need to play at his zenith in order for the Clippers to avoid the play-in tournament, as they’re just one game ahead of the sixth-place Golden State Warriors.

Los Angeles definitely has issues and concerns, as point guard Russell Westbrook is a good but vastly flawed player, but the team certainly has the talent and depth when healthy to scare a team such as the Denver Nuggets or Phoenix Suns come playoff time.
