Jeff Green Lost A Hilarious Bet To DeAndre Jordan
The Denver Nuggets are a week away from opening their 2022-23 season.
A lot of Nuggets fans have high hopes for the squad this season, and if the dominoes fall Denver’s way, it definitely seems like the squad could make some noise in the Western Conference.
This season will be DeAndre Jordan‘s first with the Nuggets after the veteran signed with the organization over the summer.
Meanwhile, it’ll be Jeff Green‘s second season with the team, as the 36-year-old picked up his player option in June to keep him in Denver for another year.
Jordan and Green have both been in the league for a long time, and they’ve been teammates before.
They’re now together once again on the Nuggets, and it seems like they’re enjoying each other’s company.
The two players apparently agreed to a friendly bet for Week 4 of the NFL season.
Green is a fan of the Washington Commanders, and Jordan is a fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
The two teams faced off in Week 4, and the Cowboys came out on top.
As a result, Green had to rep a Cowboys jersey.
“I’m a man of my word. I lost a bet last week. My Washington Commanders lost to his Dallas Cowboys.”

The Washington-Dallas game wasn’t a particularly close one, as the Cowboys won 25-10.
It was a strong day for the Dallas defense, as the unit made life tough on Carson Wentz.
Wentz threw for just 170 yards on the day and was intercepted twice, though he did throw for one touchdown.
Cooper Rush, meanwhile, had a solid showing for Dallas, as he threw for 223 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions.
As things stand now, the Cowboys are 4-1, and the Commanders are 1-4.

Although Green likely isn’t thrilled with the way his Commanders have performed so far this season, he’s surely excited for the upcoming NBA campaign.
As for Jordan, he’s got multiple things to be excited about: the success of his Cowboys as well as the upcoming NBA season.
Ready To Roll
Jordan and Green both have 14 seasons of NBA experience under their belts.
Despite how long they’ve been in the league, neither player has won an NBA title yet.
The two veterans would surely love nothing more than to change that this season.
The Nuggets are a very talented group, and they’ve made the playoffs in four straight seasons.
They even reached the Western Conference Finals in the 2019-20 campaign after an unforgettable run.
Now, they’re looking to take the next step, and the journey will begin next Wednesday when Denver opens its season against the Utah Jazz.
Jordan and Green will surely look to contribute in any way possible throughout the year.
Last season, Jordan averaged 4.3 points and 5.5 rebounds per game in limited playing time.
As for Green, he averaged 10.3 points and 3.1 rebounds per game while playing a major role for Denver.
It’ll be interesting to see what the Nuggets ask of Jordan and Green in the upcoming season, and it won’t be long before that question gets answered.
One thing is for sure: The two journeymen seem happy to be teammates once again.
