James Harden Doesn’t Care What The Media Says
James Harden of the Philadelphia 76ers has been putting his money where his mouth is lately.
For years, even devoted Harden fans have said that the player sometimes lacks drive and dedication to his teams.
We have seen it before with the Houston Rockets and then the Brooklyn Nets.
But lately, Harden has seemed to turn a page: he has stayed in great shape during the summer, fostered team chemistry, and even took a pay cut so the squad could sign more talent like P.J. Tucker.
James Harden says he hasn’t received proper credit for his selflessness after signing a team-friendly deal with the Sixers

That last point is one of contention for Harden, who doesn’t feel the media gave him the proper credit for accepting less money in the summer.
But it isn’t going to affect him too much.
When asked if the media covered the story of Harden’s pay cut fairly, the 76ers All-Star was direct: “Nope, but guess what? I don’t care.”
It’s good to hear that Harden isn’t paying attention to the media because he has far more important things to focus on.
Harden’s Hard Work
Harden and his 76ers are on the verge of what could be a huge season for them.
Along with Harden looking ready to go, the team is also being led by Joel Embiid, who might have an MVP year.
There are other talents on board too (Tyrese Maxey, Tucker, De’Anthony Melton, Tobias Harris) and everyone is laser-focused on reaching the depths of the playoffs and possibly the NBA Finals.
Harden and his squad will need to shut off all the noise and keep their eyes on the prize.
There will be a lot of people and stories attempting to distract this team but they need to stay above all that.
