Baseball is a fun game, with unique batting stances, pitching deliveries, home run celebrations, and sliding techniques.

We associate every player with a particular move, technique, or approach.

When it comes to New York Yankees left-hander Nestor Cortes, his delivery is both hilarious and amazing.

He tends to tinker with his windups and deliveries, and most of them are quite unique.

He taps the mound, he moves his lead leg in the air after starting his windup, he plays with angles and release points, and more.

His Yankees teammates were asked to imitate Cortes’ delivery, and the results are amazing.

Anthony Rizzo was the first one to try, but he didn’t do a good job.

Aaron Judge and Gleyber Torres‘ impersonations were both very, very good.

Gerrit Cole was next, and it was by far the best.

Kyle Higashioka, Isiah Kiner-Falefa, Harrison Bader, and Wandy Peralta, among others, also joined the game with good results.

At the end of the video, Cortes is shown smiling and “loading up” to toss.

This would also be a really fun game across the league, both with Cortes’ delivery and other pitchers as well.

Players can also imitate batting stances and home run celebrations.

The league can certainly evaluate the possibility of treating its fans with a video of players impersonating, say, Juan Soto‘s dancing in the batter’s box, Trea Turner sliding into home plate, or Ronald Acuna Jr.‘s home run celebration.

For now, we will gladly take this Cortes content and call it a day.

It’s really good, and Cole definitely gets the award for best impersonation.
