The Trae Young-Luka Doncic trade between the Atlanta Hawks and Dallas Mavericks was one of the few win-win transactions in recent NBA Draft history.

Or at least, that’s what most of us thought earlier in their careers.

Both teams seemingly had a building block to revamp their franchises around, and both put their teams on their shoulders to lead them to the playoffs.

Fast forward to today, and it seems like both of them could be on their way out, with Doncic unhappy in Dallas and the Hawks now reportedly considering moving on from Young.

There have been plenty of rumors and rumblings about the team not being happy with Young’s behavior and attitude.

The former Oklahoma Sooner hasn’t handled himself properly, often traveling on his own and reportedly throwing temper tantrums.

There were even reports of the locker room siding with former coach Nate McMillan in his feud with Young, as the talented point guard reportedly refused to play off the bench and didn’t even show up for a game.

So, all things considered, fans weren’t exactly shocked to hear about this news.

Young is one of the most talented playmakers and versatile scorers in the league, but he still needs to prove himself as a winner at this level.

His leadership skills have been put in doubt throughout the season, and it seems like he’ll have plenty of work to do to turn this narrative around.
