Fans React To Today’s DeAndre Hopkins News

The Arizona Cardinals and DeAndre Hopkins were major talking points for months during the offseason.
Hopkins was rumored to be in the trade market for weeks, up to the point where he even hinted at the teams he would gladly play for next season.
The front office later dismissed all those talks, stating that they intended to have him under contract for next season and that they wanted him to be a part of the organization going forward.
Fast forward to today and those feelings might as well be a thing of the past, as they announced they were releasing him.

Needless to say, that prompted plenty of reactions on social media, from some saying that he’s washed, and others urging their teams to make a run at him.
If he goes to the Jets ESPN is going to become unwatchable.
We’re already getting ’round the clock coverage about Aaron Rodgers’ calf and how the Jets are better than the Chiefs.

Did they also announce who they’ll be taking with the #1 pick in next year’s draft?

Hopkins isn’t getting any younger and is coming off a couple of injury-riddled seasons, but most teams would take him in a heartbeat at a discount.
The apparent lack of interest in trading for him wasn’t due to his health or game but because of his steep salary and potential compensation for his services.
But now that he’s a free agent and will most likely be willing to take a pay cut to play for a contender, he should have a plethora of teams lining up at his door.
Hopkins is one of the best wideouts of the last decade, and it won’t be long before he’s signed.
As for the Cardinals, this could be a very long season with Kyler Murray also out for at least half of the campaign.
