After losing to them just days ago, the Los Angeles Lakers entered Wednesday night determined to beat the Chicago Bulls.

That is exactly what they did, pulling off a comfortable 121-110 victory over the Windy City team.

Anthony Davis had a game-high 38 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 blocks during the game, once again looking like the dominant player he can be.

This was a big game for Davis because there was a lot of attention on him after a lackluster performance last week.

Many were wondering if he’d be able to bounce back.

He was able to do that with gusto and his legion of fans were elated by what they saw.

It was clear that Chicago’s defenders weren’t able to stop Davis, who consistently moved through just about any defensive rotation that the Bulls threw his way.

There were plenty of people who noted the power of Davis alongside LeBron James, who was incredible with 25 points and 7 rebounds of his own.

“What a duo!” one fan said.

Davis is a Chicago native and many noted that he usually performs well when he comes back home.

“Anthony Davis always comes to ball in his hometown of Chicago: Lakers WIN,” one fan tweeted.

More than anything, loyal Lakers fans were pleading with Davis to keep up this sort of output in the next few games as the postseason approaches.

The Lakers have only a few more games left in the regular season.

As of now, they would qualify for the play-in tournament.

How much higher can they climb if Davis continues to play as he did on Wednesday night?
