The Milwaukee Bucks will kick off their 2022-23 season on Thursday night, as they take on the Philadelphia 76ers.

Beating the 76ers won’t be easy.

Despite their opening night loss to the Boston Celtics, they are one of the most competitive and intense teams in the East, especially with Joel Embiid thriving and James Harden performing better than he has in years.

But the Bucks aren’t scared, especially their lead player, Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Antetokounmpo has been eagerly awaiting this moment all summer and posted an image on Twitter that showed him fired up and downright scary.

With a simple caption that read “Season 10. Let’s goooooooo” Antetokounmpo was putting the rest of the league on notice.

MVP Season Incoming

Antetokounmpo has already won MVP – twice – but he feels even more dedicated to claiming that trophy this year.

The Greek Freak wasn’t thrilled with how last season ended for his team, especially since it came just a year after winning his first Finals.

He wants last year to be a fluke and hopes that 2022-23 will continue to build a legacy and dynasty for his Bucks.

Sadly, Antetkounmpo will be missing Khris Middleton as the new season kicks off and his absence was felt during last year’s postseason.

But that doesn’t mean the Bucks can’t burst into the new year with power and multiple wins right out of the gate.

Fans of the team are expecting a lot because Antetokounmpo has made no secret of his plans to take over the league, win MVP, and take his team back to the Finals.

We need to wait a few weeks to see just how good or bad the Bucks really are but expectations have probably never been higher for the team.
