Spring training has finally begun.

Pitchers and catchers have reported to camp and are ready to get going with a new season on the horizon.

After winning 83 games during the regular season last year and falling just short of the final Wild Card spot in the American League, the Baltimore Orioles are coming into the 2023 season with something to prove.

With young stars such as Adley Rutschman and Gunnar Henderson, the Orioles are out to prove that 2022 was no fluke.

And Rutschman is already at camp and putting in the work to prepare for 2023.

On Twitter, the Orioles posted a few pictures of their young catcher taking a few swings and walking out onto the field in the wee hours of the morning.

Rutschman is ready to go and so are the Orioles.

This is a young team that is out to prove that 2022 was the start of something special.

After losing 110 games in 2021, not much was expected of the O’s in 2022.

In fact, preseason predictions were not exactly kind to them.

However, they defied expectations and found their way back into contention.

With Rutschman entering his second season, he’ll look to build off of his success from 2022, a season in which he was a finalist for the American League Rookie of the Year Award.

That award was ultimately won by Julio Rodriguez.

But the Orioles may be an exciting team to watch because of stars such as Rutschman and Henderson.

The future is bright and the 2023 season is almost near.
