Yo La Tengo Share New Song “Aselestine”: Listen

Yo La Tengo are back with another new song from This Stupid World, their upcoming album: “Aselestine” features Georgia Hubley on lead vocals. Give it a listen below.

This Stupid World is the Yo La Tengo’s first new full-length since 2020’s We Have Amnesia Sometimes. It’s due out February 10 via Matador. In addition to “Aselestine,” they’ve also shared the lead single “Fallout.”

Next month, Yo La Tengo will embark on a lengthy tour in support of This Stupid World. It begins on February 15 in Seattle, Washingto,n and will bring the trio across the United States before flying to Europe for more than a dozen dates.

In the time that’s passed since their last LP, Yo La Tengo have released an EP in 2020 titled Sleepless Night and reissued two of their timeless staples: 1995’s Electr-O-Pura and 1997’s I Can Hear the Heart Beating As One. The band also joined David Byrne for a cover of Yoko Ono’s “Who Has Seen the Wind” last year.
