The Pro Bowl votes are in and Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields isn’t on the Pro Bowl roster.

Despite having an amazing season with his legs in 2022, it wasn’t enough to land him a spot on the Pro Bowl roster.

However, fans of the Bears feel like this is a snub of the young quarterback.

But is this accurate, or are their feelings for their quarterback bias?

Fields Isn’t A Pro Bowl Snub

While some feel leaving Fields out of the Pro Bowl is a snub, these feelings aren’t accurate.

The argument from fans is how he’s carrying the entire offense of the Bears on his back this season.

While this part is true, the Pro Bowl is supposed to be for the best players in their position.

Fields is a long way from being the best player in his position this season.

Even with his rushing yards this season, it doesn’t make up for the lack of passing yards.

His 2,048 passing yards rank him 28th among qualified quarterbacks and his 15 passing touchdowns rank him 18th.

These aren’t worthy of a Pro Bowl bid, despite his record-breaking rushing performances this season.

However, fans are missing out on something special if Fields made the Pro Bowl.

Pro Bowl Selection Could Have Raised Fields’ Stock

Without elite receivers in Chicago, everything has been on Fields’ legs this season.

However, if he made the Pro Bowl, fans could have seen his passing ability with elite receivers.

It could have also raised his stock in the NFL as more than just a running quarterback in the league.
