— U.S. Rep. Mark Pocan is distancing himself from a letter he signed along with 29 other House Dems urging President Biden to engage in direct diplomacy with Russia to end the war in Ukraine.
The letter, also signed by U.S. Rep. Gwen Moore, D-Milwaukee, raised concerns about the “risk of catastrophic escalation” in arguing it was in the best interests of Ukraine, the U.S. and the world to avoid a prolonged conflict.
