Trevor Lawrence came into the NFL as a once in a lifetime quarterback.

The Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback helped take his team to the NFL playoffs after two seasons as a pro.

While the feat is amazing, he also had an unbelievable streak going into his second playoff game of his career.

The streak was how he’s never lost a game in his football career on a Saturday.

While Lawrence can lose on any other day, Saturdays were his day to rule the gridiron.

However, taking down Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs was too much for him.

While he didn’t extend his winning streak on Saturdays, he gave his all during the game.

His protection of the ball was better, as he only had one interception.

This was better than his four interceptions from his wild card comeback game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

While he slashed his turnover numbers, his touchdown numbers also took a hit.

He followed up his four touchdowns against the Chargers with a one touchdown performance.

However, what hurt him was how tight-end Evan Engram didn’t have big numbers like he did during Jacksonville’s wild card game.

Without him putting up long gains and touchdowns, the Jaguars couldn’t overtake the Chiefs.

Despite these things, Lawrence didn’t allow the defeat to keep him down.

He took the loss with grace and thanked his teammates for the work they put in this season.

While his Saturday winning streak is over, he can look to begin a new streak in 2023.
