The Seattle Seahawks exceeded all expectations during the 2022 NFL season after trading Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos.

This was initially seen as a death sentence for the team, as he was their franchise quarterback.

However, Geno Smith took over the reins of the team, leading them to a playoff berth.

In response to Smith’s fantastic performances, the Seahawks signed him to a three-year contract extension.

While many fans thought this might be the end of their quarterback search, a recent photo might dictate otherwise.

C.J. Stroud, who many have projected to be the number one quarterback in the upcoming draft class, recently posted a photo with members of the Seahawks front office.

Stroud has been linked to the Carolina Panthers, especially since they traded up to the number one overall pick.

However, the Seahawks currently hold the fifth pick in the draft, which they acquired in the Wilson trade.

Will the Seahawks take a chance on Stroud, or another quarterback to grow and develop under Smith?

The Panthers are in desperate need of a quarterback, as are the Indianapolis Colts and the Houston Texans.

If the Seahawks are truly in the market to draft a quarterback, they will likely need to make a few moves in order to make that happen.

It appears that Stroud and the front office got along well, given the photo that Stroud recently posted with them.

This relationship will be a developing story moving forward and is certainly something to monitor ahead of April’s draft.
