The Eternal Deception of “He Gets Us”

“But he that shall scandalize one of these little ones that believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone should be hanged about his neck, and that he should be drowned in the depth of the sea.” –Matthew 18:6

My esteemed colleague Scott McKay beat me to the punch on this topic yesterday in a brief and fantastically written article. I was ready to walk away from any writing on it, but then when I was charged with finding a Quote of the Day for The Hayride tomorrow, I came across three Scripture passages and felt a tugging of the soul and fingers on the keyboard.

The Biblical, truly Christian understanding of “Jesus Gets Us” is that he “gets” our human nature, our proclivity to sin, and has since the fall of Adam and Eve. It is precisely because he “gets” us that he was born specifically to die for that sin and the ones we continue to commit. Only a total moron would respect or follow the teaching of anything those commercials promote. It is just one more addition to the religion of America–just do whatever you want to do–do you–and you’ll be just fine.

We saw it from this series of commercials’ inception a few years back, and last night simply confirmed the recognition. That is how Lucifer–the angel of light–works, as a devil disguised in angel’s wings.

Said McKay in the aforementioned short masterpiece, among other things:

Jesus did not just go around washing just anybody’s feet. He washed the feet of the apostles. The lesson that teaches is about leadership, not culture or acceptance – a good leader, and Jesus was the best leader the world has ever known, is a servant to those he leads.

Which Jesus was.

Toward sinners he was hardly subservient. He brought a makeshift whip and a big dose of righteous indignation to chase the moneychangers from the temple, and his message to the prostitute whose life he saved was not acceptance.

It was “go and sin no more.”

Meaning that Jesus preached repentance. He didn’t preach tolerance and acceptance. Jesus was all about setting standards, not knocking them down.

The idea that Jesus’ modern-day followers should be at an abortion clinic to wash the feet of the practitioners of infanticide there is offensive and absurd beyond belief. He would have brought a whip, not a bowl and a rag.

It’s hard to even fathom how this could possibly have been a message Christians thought would spread a biblical worldview.

Some of the other “Jesus Gets Us” messages could be interpreted either way. This one puts the whole thing in a very clear focus.

This is a psyop aimed at demoralizing Christians and traditional Americans, and it ought to be denounced as such.

I would only add that I believe it is more than just about demoralizing Christians, even though it certainly is that. Is there anything more demoralizing than seeing your King and Savior strawmanned to such a ridiculous degree? But in addition to this is the undercurrent of the globalists’ plan to eradicate Christianity all together, a plan that “Pope Francis” seems to be riding right along with against the growing Traditional Catholic religion and even against Catholics who continue to subscribe to the new order of things introduced in the mid-20th century.

Dare I say it, this line of thinking and false teaching seems to be the great delusion of which God speaks in Scripture. Brotherhood, unity, togetherness–all things “Francis” focuses on exponentially more than even a mentioning of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in much of his writings. It is the Masonic religion. It is the religion of Antichrist.

It is a belief system that will send its followers straight to hell.

The following are three ultra-clear warnings the Son of God, through Paul, gives about a number of specific variations of sinners. There is no equivocating here. He is not smiling outside an abortion clinic. He is clear, and the damnation spoken of for such sinners is the exact opposite of the insidious message of those commercials.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10

Know you not that the unjust shall not possess the kingdom of God? Do not err: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor the effeminate, nor liers with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor railers, nor extortioners, shall possess the kingdom of God.

Galatians 5:19-21

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are fornication, uncleanness, immodesty, luxury, idolatry, witchcrafts, enmities, contentions, emulations, wraths, quarrels, dissensions, sects, envies, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like. Of the which I foretell you, as I have foretold to you, that they who do such things shall not obtain the kingdom of God.

Ephesians 5:3-6 

But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not so much as be named among you, as becometh saints: or obscenity, or foolish talking, or scurrility, which is to no purpose; but rather giving of thanks. For know you this and understand, that no fornicator, or unclean, or covetous person (which is a serving of idols), hath inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no man deceive you with vain words. For because of these things cometh the anger of God upon the children of unbelief.

These are all quoted from the Douay-Rheims English translation of the Bible. Is there any wavering in Christ’s words here? Should there be any confusion among listeners, including one of the greatest sinners out there–myself?

I wrote about the “poison of nice” in this culture, even mentioning these misleading commercials, back in September. It is worth revisiting:

We live in a society where being nice is the ultimate virtue. Love is love. Do you and I’ll do me–until it is time to legislate things, of course. Then we see the pitfall in accepting “niceness” as the ultimate virtue. Those we have been nice to and tolerated with their moral bankruptcy turn on us and demand that everyone kowtow to their disgusting, insidious desires.

It is why they are grouping pedophilia in with the former LGBTQ agenda. The plus (+) has been added. Along with some other letters, I believe. See how that works? The Overton Window has shifted, which was the plan all along, which a lot of us were shouting from the rooftops all along, showing ourselves to be true assholes apparently in some circles. We lost friends. They sneak in “love is love” a few years back and now they are going for the jugular with pedophilia simply being a “sexual orientation.”

It’s all so nice, isn’t it? …

[Archbishop Fulton] Sheen had a message for us concerning nice people. And dare I say it–Jesus Christ was not a “nice” person. The “nice” Jesus is what these devils are trying to convince us of–in the unlikely event they do mention him–when things like the “Jesus Gets Us” immigrant-driven, propaganda-laced commercials come on and it takes everything in me to stop rolling my eyes.

Just read the Gospels. Actually read them. (First find a version of the Bible that hasn’t been watered down by suspect book publishers). And tell me Jesus was a “nice,” tolerant person when he was sticking a finger in the eye of his future executioners, or point blank commanding any sinner he was merciful to not to sin again.

Jesus has been minimized to memes on Facebook and catchy word-letter configurations in commercials. In the grave, Archbishop Sheen is probably rolling his eyes too:

And now they are working overtime to shift the Overton Window on the person and lordship of Christ himself. The true Christian message, not the commercial one, is simple: if we want to make it into the kingdom of Heaven, we’d better stop revising Jesus in order for him to get us, and we’d better start working to “get Him” instead. Anything else is not just the work of Godless globalists working to depopulate the world and institute a New World Order, it is the work of their master, the father of lies, the prince of this world, Satan himself.

May everyone named directly or referenced indirectly ask forgiveness and do penance for their sins against America and God. I fight this information war in the spirit of justice and love for the innocent, but I have been reminded of the need for mercy and prayers for our enemies. I am a sinner in need of redemption as well after all, for my sins are many. In the words of Jesus Christ himself, Lord forgive us all, for we know not what we do.
