This harrowing footage shows a giant tornado tearing through Arabi, Louisiana.
Footage from New Orleans resident Brain Delancey shows the twister tearing through Arabi, Louisiana, on Tuesday evening (22/03).
He said: “I took this video of a tornado from my porch – the poor people in Arabi.
Officials have reported that there has been at least one death, as well as multiple injuries.
The twister landed in New Orleans’ Lower Ninth Ward on Tuesday evening, causing huge destruction before moving east to nearby St Bernard.
The major storm system that caused the tornado to occur has continued throughout parts of the Southern USA, claiming one life in Texas and injuring over two dozen others.
