Taylor Swift Reveals New Album Midnights’ Full Tracklist, Including New Song With Lana Del Rey

Taylor Swift has revealed the full tracklist of her new album, Midnights. After sharing several song titles via TikTok in recent weeks, Swift revealed the final track titles overnight, including one, “Snow on the Beach,” which features Lana Del Rey. See the full tracklist below.

Swift announced Midnights at the end of August, while accepting the award for Video of the Year at MTV’s Video Music Awards. She’s described the album as “the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout [her] life.” Midnights is out on October 21.

The record includes a song called “Karma,” a title that has spawned speculative fan theories for the past six years. Some of them posited that Swift had recorded a secret album by that name amid her 2016 feud with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.

Midnights is the first album of all-new material from Swift since she issued Evermore at the end of 2020. Between those projects, she’s released the re-recorded “Taylor’s Versions” of 2012’s Red and 2008’s Fearless. Evermore was also Swift’s second album of 2020, arriving less than six months after Folklore. Swift announced both on short notice. In mid-September, Swift confirmed that Jack Antonoff, who’d worked on Folklore and co-produced Evermore’s “Gold Rush,” worked with her again on Midnights.

As part of the rollout for Red (Taylor’s Version), Swift released a 10-minute version of her song “All Too Well” with a short film. Swift directed the visual companion herself, and Stranger Things’ Sadie Sink appears as Swift’s analog alongside Dylan O’Brien. Swift’s Video of the Year win at the VMAs—her third—set a new record for the ceremony’s highest honor. Swift picked up additional trophies for Best Direction and Best Longform Video. “All Too Well” is eligible for a Best Live-Action Short Film Academy Award, but those nominations won’t be announced until late January. The single itself set a Billboard record for the longest No. 1 song.

Swift has not yet announced which of her previous records will be next in her campaign to re-record all of her material in order to regain control over her master recordings. She revealed the undertaking in the summer of 2019 as she publicly reckoned with Scooter Braun selling the rights to her master recordings, allegedly without her involvement. In a September interview with NPR, Braun said that he had some “regrets” over how the situation played out.
