Solo travel! Decided to get in my car and just drive and I ran into some Louisiana plantations! I went to visit the MELROSE plantation but since it wasn’t opened on that particular day, I found the MAGNOLIA plantation. I got a chance to get a private tour of the MAGNOLIA plantation. I learned about the life of slavery, the jobs of the slaves, and more history of the land and slavery cabins.
