The Seattle Seahawks are getting ready for an entertaining 2023 NFL Draft.

The team made it to the playoffs in 2022 after an unexpected yet impressive season from Geno Smith willed them to the postseason.

However, they know they need to look to the future, and adding a quarterback could be a priority.

That’s why they’ve placed their attention on Anthony Richardson of the Florida Gators.

If things go well, they may go for the talented player, especially after their general manager shared his thoughts on the 20-year-old.

Seahawks GM John Schneider stated that Richardson was ‘impressive.’

“He has a ton of physical talent, no question about it. . . . He did a great job. He had fun. He was loose, and he had a good time with his teammates.”

The team traded Russell Wilson last season in a move that has worked wonders for them.

Geno Smith proved that he can be valuable in the NFL, but the team knows they need more to win championships again.

Recently, they welcomed back Bobby Wagner, one of the members of the famous ‘Legion of Boom.’

The Seahawks have a solid team, and adding the right quarterback can be the key for them in the future, especially in an incredibly difficult NFC West.

Richardson has a lot of work to do to fulfill his potential, but he’s seen as a very interesting prospect around the league.

He’s been compared to Cam Newton, which could be great for the Seahawks.

In 2022, he threw for 2,549 yards and 17 touchdowns, while getting intercepted nine times.

There’s still some work to do, but this kid appears to have a bright future ahead.
