Road Trip #514 – LA Hwy 3017 – Belle Chasse / Harvey, Louisiana

Louisiana Highway 3017 runs along the Intracoastal Waterway, beginning at LA-23 in Belle Chasse, Louisiana as Engineers Road. The entirety of this highway runs through an industrial area. At the Harvey Canal, the road turns and enters Jefferson Parish in the unincorporated community of Harvey, and becomes Peters Road. Now the road parallels the Harvey Canal to the end, with industrial zoning on both sides of the road. Boomtown Casino is in this stretch. Peters road passes under US-90 Business and ends at a junction with LA-18 near the Mississippi River.
