Was this police-involved shooting justified or preventable? You decide.

Attorneys for Derrick KIttling’s family say the police footage shows the 45-year-old’s death was unwarranted and preventable.

Police and state officials say they are still investigating the officer-involved shooting of a Black man by a white Rapides Parish Sherriffs Deputy in the U.S. state of Louisiana in the country’s South.

Video shows the officer approaching the suspect who was reportedly initially pulled over for tinted windows and a modified exhaust. Kittling then takes control of the officer’s taser before the deadly shooting takes place.
