The NFL has officially entered the offseason.

After a thrilling Super Bowl that saw the Kansas City Chiefs defeat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35, teams now gear up for 2023.

Even though there will not be any NFL games until August, the NFL remains a year-round operation.

There are plenty of key upcoming dates, that NFL fans will want to write on their calendars.

First, we have draft season, which features the NFL combine starting on February 28th.

That is the first taste NFL teams/fans get to see the upcoming draft prospects all on the field together.

All of the pre-draft processes will ultimately be leading up to the draft on April 27th.

Free agency is the other key offseason period where teams will be able to upgrade their teams before the draft.

Over the next few months is where championship teams are made.

Finding the right players to draft, and free agents to sign can make all the difference.

This past offseason the Eagles were one of the most active teams, which led to them having arguably the best roster in the NFL.

That was a big reason why we saw them playing on Sunday.

So it will be interesting to see which team takes that aggressive approach this offseason.

While no team can win the Super Bowl in the offseason, you can certainly give yourself an advantage.

Every team that needs a quarterback will be looking for the next Patrick Mahomes in this draft class.

But, those that have a quality quarterback need to find a way to slow players like Mahomes down.

Every team has different needs, and they will all be worked out over the next few months.
