NFL Insider Notes An Important Ryan Tannehill Fact
The Ryan Tannehill era may be coming to an end for the Tennessee Titans.
The team drafted quarterback Will Levis after trading up to get the No. 33 selection in the 2023 NFL Draft, and it looks like the organization is looking to move away from Tannehill.
NFL insider Adam Schefter pointed out the fact that Tannehill is entering the final year of his contract and that not a single penny he is owed next season will be guaranteed.

Tannehill first came to Tennessee via a trade with the Miami Dolphins in 2019.
He had been somewhat of a disappointment in Miami after going No. 8 in the 2012 draft, but he seemed to blossom in his first season with the Titans, passing for 2,742 yards and 22 touchdowns despite playing in only 12 games.
He completed an outstanding 70.3 percent of his passes that year, earning him his first Pro Bowl nod, and he led the Titans all the way to the AFC Championship Game that winter.
But in 2022, the 34-year-old Tannehill looked to be in decline, as he mustered just 13 touchdown passes.
Tennessee went only 7-10 despite some real hope they would win the AFC South, and it doesn’t appear they will do so anytime soon.
They need to solve their quarterback issue, and they have a lack of weapons at wide receiver after trading A.J. Brown last offseason.
But the Titans do have star running back Derrick Henry, who had 1,538 yards and 13 touchdowns on the ground in 2022, and they will ride him as much as possible for the foreseeable future.
