In this episode of our New Orleans travel vlog we visit the town of Ponchatoula, LA. Ponchatoula is known as “America’s Antique City” and the “Strawberry Capital of the World” along with being famous for their Strawberry Festival. Ponchatoula is 47 minutes and 51 miles from New Orleans.

In this episode we explore the town and visit:

Berry Town Produce is a great family business that offers a great selection of local and regional food products.

Poncatoula Country Market in the train depot.

Chesterton Square event venue.

Collinswood School Museum is a free attraction that was built as a one room schoolhouse in 1876 and was used as a school until 1908. The building was moved to the current location in 1975 and restored as a museum.

C.J.’s Antiques & Collectibles a great store with a huge variety of inventory.
