NBA Writer Raises Shocking Possibility About Kyrie Irving

There is a chance that Kyrie Irving may have just blown up the Brooklyn Nets.

Irving will be sitting out for at least five games due to his recent behavior and his promotion of an antisemitic film on social media.

The backlash for Irving’s actions has been strong and all of this has once again led to him bumping heads with the team’s front office.

Not unlikely that Kyrie Irving has played his last game as a Net. Not sure how much trade value he will garner. Udoka seems to be on hold as well.

NBA writer Alec Sturm thinks that Irving’s suspension may last longer than five games.

In fact, he said that it’s “not unlikely that Kyrie Irving has played his last game as a Net.”

Sturm isn’t sure how much trade value Irving will have but he suggests that the All-Star player could be packing his bags soon.

Additionally, Sturm points out that the hiring of Ime Udoka has seemingly been put on hold in the midst of this latest controversy.

He also adds that it might be time to “re-visit moving Durant, recouping value, and moving forward.”

Sturm isn’t the first to suggest that Irving might be moving on from the Nets.

When his suspension was first announced on Thursday, some people assumed he wouldn’t be willing to apologize and follow the steps laid out by the team.

They predicted he’d rather walk away than go back on what he’s done and said.

While Irving has since formally apologized, there is a lot of talk about how frustrated the Nets are with him.

Perhaps they will look at the mess he has caused, the lackluster start for the season, and the replacement of Steve Nash, and decide now is the right time to trade Irving and reshape the team.
