NBA Fans Speculate About Damian Lillard’s Future After Insider’s Report
It has been said so many times before but this time it might be true: Damian Lillard’s time with the Portland Trail Blazers may be coming to an end.
The Blazers are now 1-9 in their last 10 games and have very little chance of making the playoffs in the weeks ahead.
Because of that, NBA insider Shams Charania is reporting that Lillard and the team will likely have “serious conversations about what’s next for both sides” in the near future.

That ominous tidbit has many people speculating that the two sides could part ways after years together.
In fact, nearly everyone online was saying that Lillard is probably packing his bags after this latest lackluster season in Rose City.

Per Sources commended Lillard for his hard work, saying, “Respect Dame’s loyalty but time to go.”
Lillard has been nothing but loyal to the Blazers, averaging 25.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 6.7 assists during his 11 seasons with Portland.
He has had many chances to leave the team but he stuck it out with them throughout all the letdowns and tough times.

Some people aren’t so sure that Lillard will actually leave because he has stayed so loyal, even when success was out of reach.

Others pleaded with the Blazers to trade Lillard because his value is still sky-high on the market and the team could get a lot in return for him.

We have heard rumors and speculation about Lillard leaving the team for years now.
