Myrtle Grove Marina–Gone Fishing and enjoying great Louisiana fishing near New Orleans!
I have Gone Fishing to escape the New Orleans COVID-19 Coronavirus lock down. A much needed escape to get some fresh air and much needed outdoor time on the water and out in the sunlight. Fortunately in Louisiana we still can venture out on the water and fish. We are also blessed with some of the best fishing in the country so we will also be bringing back dinner along with enough fish for several other meals. Myrtle Grove Marina is a great spot to launch from and they have bait and other items you might need for your trip. Myrtle Grove is a quick trip from the city core of New Orleans and once you are out on the water you are also not too far from Grand Isle and Venice which are well noted & famous fishing spots. This video will just give you a fairly typical Myrtle Grove Marina fishing report and we had a lot of speckled trout action as the sea trout were really hitting along with some sheepshead and the bait stealing catfish. One fish even bit off my Vudu Shrimp hook!!!
