MLB Is Making Sure The Yankees Stay In Primetime
The New York Yankees will host the Cleveland Guardians on Tuesday night at 7:37 pm ET: it will be Game 1 of the American League Division Series.
Game 2 will be held on Thursday, also in Yankee Stadium, at the same time: 7:37 pm ET.
MLB is making sure the Bombers are staying in primetime throughout the whole series.
“Rest of the times for NYY/CLE ALDS: Game 3: 7:37pm ET. Game 4 (if needed): 7:07 pm ET. Game 5 (if needed): 7:37pm ET,” Guardians insider Mandy Bell tweeted.

A lot of people want to watch the Yankees: they are the team with the most fans in the sport, but they are also the most hated organization in baseball.
The “Evil Empire”, as many folks refer to them, generate a lot of interest among fans: if you like them, you will want to follow and watch them.
However, if you hate them, you surely find great joy by watching them lose.
Fans Want To See The Yankees
There is absolutely nothing wrong with that because it’s part of fandom.
In any case, MLB recognizes this and routinely has the Yankees playing at a time in which most fans are free and ready to watch and enjoy a ballgame.
Other people, of course, have complained that the Houston Astros were the best team in the American League and deserved some primetime attention.
The @Astros:
-are the No.1 AL team
-have won their division the last five full seasons
-have the best pitcher in baseball starting Game 1and it’s a 2:30 start? Not a primetime game? The disrespect… #LevelUp #KeepBooing

While they have a valid point, as long as people watch the Yankees, they will probably be favored in these scenarios.
In the end, the Yankees – Guardians series should be one of the most entertaining ones in the playoffs.
Not only are the Yankees good, but the Guardians are also young and exciting and have a good chance at upsetting New York due to their excellent manager (Terry Francona) and talented roster.
